The Dolomiten Tennis Academy needed a system to digitize course registrations across South Tyrol. Built with React, TypeScript, and Firebase, this full-stack solution handles registrations, course management, athlete dashboards, and real-time data synchronization — processing 10,000+ bookings with 99.9% uptime.
Paper forms, spreadsheets, and phone calls don't scale when managing 1,900+ athletes.
We needed to transform from paper-based registration to a complete digital platform that could handle peak enrollment periods while giving athletes complete control over their experience.
Course registrations were handled through paper forms, leading to data entry errors, lost documents, and no real-time visibility into availability.
Staff spent hours each week processing registrations, updating spreadsheets, and responding to phone inquiries about course schedules.
Athletes and parents had no way to check course availability, view their registrations, or manage their profiles without calling the office.

Users register, add athletes to their account, and enroll them in courses by selecting venue and course. The personal dashboard lists all active enrollments grouped by athlete.
Enrollments can be edited or cancelled at any time. Athletes, contact details, email, phone number, and password are all user-managed without contacting the academy.
Admins get a live registration overview filterable by venue or course, with one-click CSV export for planning and invoicing.
Admins manage venues and courses directly in the app. A dedicated Account Center handles user confirmation, suspensions, and password resets.

The entire platform runs on Firebase — Firestore for real-time data sync, Firebase Authentication for secure access control, and Firebase Hosting for fast global delivery. The PWA architecture means athletes can install the app on any device and continue using it even with a poor connection. Vite.js keeps the development loop tight and production bundles optimized. TypeScript end-to-end and Redux Toolkit for predictable state make the codebase maintainable as the feature set grows.

Add multiple athletes per account with full personal details. Edit or delete at any time from the dashboard.
